Langdale Forest & Fylingdales Moor restoration updates (summer 2026)
Open Access and Public Rights of Way are open, however the landscape across Fylingdales Moor remains vulnerable to further damage and erosion. Visitors are asked to follow any advisory signage and remain on designated paths, helping to protect public safety and support long-term environmental recovery. Ravenscar landslip
The footpath from the golf course down to the beach at Ravenscar is closed due to a landslip that has damaged the path and made it unsafe. This means that there is also no way up the cliff for anyone walking along the beach from Robin Hood's Bay or Boggle Hole. There are notices in place at all locations. Please do not risk being cut off by the tide.
